Boxpi opens in Bratislava: pickups and new routes

September 11, 20263 min read

On 21 September 2026, we are opening our Bratislava routes to new clients. You will be able to ship abroad through the same network that other e-shops already use.

From eastern and western Slovakia

Boxpi grew out of GymBeam’s logistics operations. We gradually made the transport arrangements developed for individual countries available to other e-shops. GymBeam now uses the network as our largest client.

This model has been operating from Košice for almost two years. Parcels travel to the destination country, where a local carrier takes over delivery to the customer. Bratislava adds another departure point for merchants dispatching from western Slovakia.

Where the Bratislava routes will go

At launch, we plan routes to Czechia, Hungary and Romania, alongside a connection to Košice. The overview below shows planned departures and delivery targets. The Romanian route also connects to delivery services in Bulgaria and Greece.

Launch route plan for 21 September 2026

  • Romania

    Bulgaria and Greece: D+2

  • Košice

  • Hungary

    Departure19:00

    D+1
  • Czechia

    Departure20:00

    D+1

These are planned route departure times, not pickup times or order cut-offs.

D+1 means a target of delivery on the next working day; D+2 means the second working day. Actual delivery depends on the destination, carrier and parcels reaching the relevant route in time.

How parcels reach the route

Dispatch planning needs to account for the whole sequence: when an order is packed, when the pickup vehicle collects it and when the route departs. A 19:00 departure, for example, does not mean that a merchant can hand over parcels at 19:00.

  1. We agree on a pickup place and time based on where you dispatch from and which countries you ship to.
  2. The pickup vehicle hands prepared parcels over to the route in time for its departure.
  3. A local carrier handles delivery in the destination country. Boxpi coordinates the connections between these stages.

Parcels transfer between vehicles when connecting routes. The Bratislava launch therefore adds pickups and transport connections, rather than a warehouse for storing stock.

We are also preparing direct routes to Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Ukraine and Switzerland for our clients. These connections are in preparation; launch dates have not yet been announced.
